Make sure you listen to them all and give a vote on your favourite!

This week I decided to focus less on a common theme and more on just new indie songs to hit the scene as of late :)

Last weeks winner was a tie between Frank Turner and William Fitzsimmons, for any of you who missed them you should definately check them out as they are great artists.

Band Review Suggestions

I've been asked by some people weather they can request bands for me to review. So, as recommended by one, I am setting up this post, so if any of you have bands you’d like me to review, or if you have any ideas for themes in the “Music of the Week” column, hit me up with a comment on this post. :)

Till The Next Review

New Bands Of The Week

Hey guys, I've just posted the new bands of the week!

Make sure you listen to them all and give a vote on your favorite!

This week I decided to focus on solo artists and their work through indie music. I really enjoy the work of solo indie artists for I find that these singer/songwriters frequently have very simple music while having extremely meaningful lyrics. This week I chose my five favorite solo artists. Some of them are in other bands while others are straight up solo artists.

Dan Mangan is a solo artist only.

Tom Gabel is also the lead singer of folk-punk band Against Me!

Stop! by Against Me!

Jay Malinowski is also the lead vocalist for ska-rock band Bedouin Soundclash

St. Andrews by Bedouin Soundclash

William Fitzsimmons is a solo artist only.

Frank Turner is also the lead singer for metalcore band Million Dead

I Am The Party by Million Dead

If you dislike the music of someone's band, it does not mean you will dislike their solo work, check them out :)

Hope you all are discovering some amazing new bands through this, have fun listening

Till next time
